Wegofu · in development

You will be able to check every transport charge before you pay

We are building Wegofu for companies that move goods. The service is designed to read carriers' rate cards, recalculate every electronic invoice and highlight discrepancies in both directions. You decide what to accept and what to dispute. Wegofu is still in development, and we are looking for pioneer companies that would like to be among the first to see it.

A logistics manager compares a printed transport invoice with the information on her screen. Through the window, two tankers and a curtain-sided lorry from different carriers can be seen in a loading yard.

Take control of transport, starting with what you pay

At Gitogi Srl, we are building Wegofu to help you buy, plan, carry out, check and pay for transport, with less manual work. We will start with checking charges. The first module is designed to read carriers' rate cards, recalculate every electronic invoice received through Italy's Sistema di Interscambio (SDI) using the rates valid on the transport date, and prepare disputes with supporting evidence. The aim is to check every charge before payment, without replacing your ERP or requiring carriers to use a portal. We are designing it for everyone involved in moving goods, whatever their role. The service is still in development and is not yet available, even for a trial.

How it will work: from rate card to decision

  1. Uploading your rate cards

The first step will be to upload rate cards and contracts in their existing formats. Once Wegofu has read them, each rate card will become active only after you confirm its interpretation. You will also be able to enter verbally agreed rates manually.
  2. Recalculating with Wegofu

As electronic invoices arrive, Wegofu will recalculate each line using the rates valid on the transport date, separating freight charges, additional charges and fuel adjustments.
  3. The decision is yours

Each discrepancy will go to a person for review, with the option to accept it, dispute it with a letter and supporting evidence, or choose not to pursue the dispute.

The rules behind the service

We defined these rules before writing the software. They will guide how we build the service and how it works.

A person has the final say

The principle is simple: AI makes suggestions, rules set the limits and a person confirms. Calculations based on defined rules, such as rates, waiting charges and adjustments, will not be handled by a language model.

You set the thresholds

Setting and approving tolerances and thresholds for disputing a charge is your decision. We at Gitogi will not make it for you.

A source for every amount

Every calculated amount will be traceable to its source document, down to the file, page and line in the rate card.

No automatic payments

Wegofu will not make payments or commit funds on your behalf. Our role at Gitogi will be to provide the software: we will not act as a transport customer or carrier, take on transport jobs or hold funds.

Data export and use

You will be able to export everything, at any time, in an open format. The service is designed to host data in the European Union. Wegofu will not assess drivers as individuals: technical data will be linked to the vehicle, not the person.

What Wegofu will do

The plans for the complete service cover the following areas. We will start by checking what you pay carriers; none of the features described is available yet.

Master data and rate cards

This area will bring together records for products, sites, fleets and drivers, including licences and qualifications. Wegofu will read carriers' rate cards in any format and convert them into a single pricing model. It will also calculate the actual cost of running your own vehicles per kilometre and per hour for comparison with carrier and courier rates.

Planning

Wegofu will build loads and plan routes around weight, volume, loading metres, driving times, traffic restrictions, delivery windows and multiple depots. Your sales team will get a delivery date to quote at the order stage, with explanations of why a solution is not possible or why a carrier has been ruled out.

The transport cycle

The service will follow transport from the order through to the transport document (DDT, CMR and e-CMR), with tracking and estimated arrival times. You will be able to call on previously qualified backup carriers to handle exceptions. This area will also cover returns management, a driver app and loading bay booking.

Money, in both directions

Invoice checks will compare four elements: expected costs, actual costs, invoiced amounts and contract terms. Wegofu will calculate charges for waiting time beyond the 90-minute allowance (Article 6-bis of Italian Legislative Decree 286/2005), with supporting evidence, and fuel adjustments based on average diesel prices published by the relevant Italian ministry. This area will also cover disputes, credit notes and legal deadlines. For companies selling transport services, Wegofu will prepare invoices based on the transport actually carried out.

Rules and deadlines

Wegofu will check the counterparty's registration in the Italian hauliers' register, social security contribution status and insurance, and provide a calendar of deadlines for vehicles and drivers.

Measurement

A dashboard will show amounts recovered, load utilisation, empty kilometres, punctuality and service costs. Each morning's work will be prioritised by impact. Each decision will have a card showing a recommendation, alternatives, the rule, the source and the amount in euros, plus three buttons: approve, edit and reject.

A network of companies

The network will connect verified operators to help them find available transport capacity, including empty return legs and spare space, and qualified service providers. Reputation will be based on transport performance, never on reviews, and will always relate to the company, never the individual. Wegofu's role will be to connect operators and perform calculations; contracts will always be between two operators, with Gitogi acting as neither party.

Who we are building Wegofu for

We are building Wegofu for anyone who moves goods: companies using external carriers, their own fleet or a combination of the two, as well as third-party hauliers, freight forwarders, logistics operators and couriers. The first module will focus mainly on companies that buy transport from several carriers and receive invoices through SDI. Hauliers will form the foundation of the network.

Help us build Wegofu with your company

We are looking for pioneer companies that would like to be among the first to see Wegofu and help us test it against their real transport scenarios. The process will begin with a demonstration using test data. Real data will only be used once a release permitting its use and a data processing agreement have been signed. To apply or ask for information, use the contact form and tell us how you manage transport.

The terms of participation have yet to be defined. Use the contact form to apply on behalf of your company or ask for information.

The questions we're asked most often

Is it available yet?
No, Wegofu is still in development. We are completing the functional design, and the service is not yet available, even for a trial. You can apply on behalf of your company or ask for information through the contact form.
Who will make the decisions?
A person will always have the final say. The approach is simple: AI makes suggestions, rules set the limits and a person confirms. You will set and approve the thresholds for disputing a charge. Each discrepancy will go to a person for review, with the option to accept it, dispute it or choose not to pursue the dispute.
Will I have to change my ERP or make carriers use a portal?
No. We are designing Wegofu to check every charge before payment without replacing your ERP or requiring carriers to use a portal. It will read rate cards and invoices in the formats in which they arrive.
Will it work against hauliers?
No. The checks will flag errors in both directions, including those in the carrier's favour. Every dispute must be supported by evidence.
Will I be able to export the data?
Yes. You will be able to export everything, at any time, in an open format. The service is designed to host data in the European Union. Wegofu will not assess drivers as individuals: technical data will be linked to the vehicle.
How much will it cost?
Pricing has yet to be defined. For now, we are collecting applications and requests for information without asking for payment.
