The cost depends on licenses (number of users × edition) and on the effort for setup, training, and customization. We don't publish fixed price lists because every SME has different processes: a pizzeria with 4 users on 3 modules is a different world from an accounting firm with 15 users on 8 modules + customizations. The initial scoping workshop (~ 1-2 days) clarifies scope and costs before any commitment.

Yes. Odoo generates the FatturaPA XML, manages submission to the Italian SDI exchange system and reception of incoming invoices. The Italian Accounting module is pre-configured with chart of accounts, VAT, reverse-charge, esterometro, and periodic VAT returns. Legal-grade archival can be managed internally or via integrated external provider.

Yes. Odoo offers 15 days of free trial across all editions. In the scoping workshop we help you configure a realistic demo environment on your processes, so the trial is meaningful and not an empty-screen tour.

Not necessarily. Odoo integrates with external software via API (e.g. payroll system, vertical tax software, vertical CRM). It often makes sense to leave a specialist system in place and use Odoo for the rest. We decide together during scoping.

Yes, but with rules. We migrate customer/vendor/item records, opening accounting balances, open invoices. Closed transactional history (past years) usually stays read-only in the old system or as an export — migrating it is expensive and the data is rarely used. We decide what to migrate based on usage value, not by default.

Yes, it's one of the segments where it makes the most sense. The price/quality ratio of Odoo Standard cloud on 5-10 users is competitive with many local Italian management systems, and the number of features usable without customization is very high. Below 3 users on trivial flows, sometimes a spreadsheet + invoicing tool is enough: we'll say so.

We develop custom modules in Python on the Odoo framework. Maintainable code, documented, kept in a Git repository. The custom module stays yours, is portable to other Odoo environments, and doesn't break on version upgrades if it's written well.

For the first 4-8 weeks after go-live we offer intensive on-demand support (priority tickets + live sessions). After that, you can continue with an hour-pack support plan or manage internally with your trained team. We don't lock you in: our goal is to make you autonomous.

Yes. Odoo SaaS is hosted in EU data centers (Belgium, Germany, France) and signs DPAs with customers. For self-hosted Community, responsibility is yours: we help you configure EU hosting, backup, retention, access control, audit logs. Our contract includes DPA clauses + sub-processor list.
